The Madras Garden Club was organized April 24, 1958 as a nonprofit service organization. Our motto is “A Garden for every home”. We are 31 local home gardeners with various degrees of experience.
If you are interested in gardening, you will want to check us out. We are always looking for new members. We meet every second Wednesday of the month. Memorial Rose Garden
We maintain the Memorial Rose Garden located at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Anyone in the community may contact a club member or see our contact page for details on purchasing a rose to be planted.

Annual Fundraiser
Each June, we have an annual plant sale at Sahalee Park located in Madras. This annual event is the only fundraiser for us.

Jefferson County Senior Center
We maintain flower gardens in the front of the Jefferson County Senior Center.
Jeffeson County Fair Flower Show
Our biggest annual project is the Jefferson County Fair Flower Show. We accept, identify, register and maintain all the homegrown flowers and arrangements submitted for judging during the fair.
Wreath Making Workshop
We have a Wreath Making Party during the month of November. A permit is obtained and greens are gathered in the state wood areas. We then get together to make wreaths for the upcoming holiday season.
